Before exploring this project, check out Dan Lam’s eye catching drip sculptures on her website here . Dan Lam’s “tactile, technicolor sculptures use unconventional materials to playfully tread a line between allure and repulsion,” as described in her web bio. *FREEBIE* End of year art class debrief survey

At the end of every school year, I have my students complete an end-of-the-school-year art class debriefing survey. For me personally, it’s so hugely helpful in my growth as a teacher! I gain valuable insights on what projects were a hit and which were a total flop. Because let’s face it… you can’t win ’em all! I can see how students felt about the class overall, my ability to provide constructive criticism, what students felt were the most important things they learned in my class, and so muc

Additional biographical information

Welcome, creatives! My name is Stephanie Villiotis. I am a certified K-12 art educator, artist, family woman and art enthusiast who loves to share my passion with others. I have a B.S.Ed in Art Education (K-12) and a minor in Studio Art and the Education of Exceptional Persons form Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Currently, I have 15 years experience teaching art in public schools. I’ve taught middle school, high school, and elementary school. My art teaching philosophy is a deep belief that everyone can make art no matter the skill level. I believe that the art making has many more benefits than just a final product, such as a therapeutic experience, an expressive outlet, and an amazing tool to build self awareness. In 2021, I started Make a Mark Studios to help artists make their mark through art. I aim to share how-to tips for artists of all skills levels, ideas for art teachers, and share my own personal art exploration.
