This pack contains materials for a Science of Reading multisensory approach for older children with reading and writing difficulties to learn about the differences between lowercase letters p, g, and q. This pack contains an SOR aligned board game for practicing b/d/g/p/q reversal with nonsense words (CV, CVC, and qu + VC), designed for 1-1 practice or small groups. The premise of the game is that players are visting a Martian Café. For the good of all humans everywhere, they must order their food in Martian (i.e. nonsense words). I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a minor in Education, an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, and an MRes in Design.
