This resource is a SIMPLE way to have a structure in place for all of the students in your class to connect with each other. I used these for quick connection activities at the start of the day, end of the day, or when students needed a fun break. This really brought a fun energy into the class and was a very structured way to get students mixed up and working with all of their peers. This resource was made for simple class organization. It includes the months, years, numbers 1-31, and the alphabet. It can be used for your classroom calendar and for any other class wall signs. Teaching style

As an educator, my goal is to create culturally relevant learning experiences that inspire students to become lifelong learners. I use project-based learning to foster an interactive environment where risk-taking is encouraged as part of the learning process. In my classroom, curiosity is not only valued but also nurtured through hands-on experimentation and discovery. I believe that strong learning experiences come from having a well-organized space and routines that support the needs of diverse learners. I’m also passionate about helping students grow by building a strong classroom community and encouraging continuous reflection and goal setting.

My own education history

My educational background has been key to shaping my approach as both a teacher and a leader. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University and a Master of Education in Cross-cultural Teaching from National University, San Diego, where I developed my passion for creating inclusive, culturally relevant learning experiences. I also earned a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School, which has been instrumental in helping me grow as an educational leader. Additionally, I hold a Multiple Subject Teacher Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and a Standard Teaching License in Elementary Education K-6 from the Hawai'i Teachers Standards Board, allowing me to work with a wide range of students across different grade levels. These experiences have all played a role in shaping my commitment to supporting both students and educators through meaningful, collaborative work.
