About the store
Hi there! Welcome to my new store: Make It Uniquely Yours! I'm Lisa Gilman, and I have been teaching since 2004. My teaching focus has been in the primary grades with a heavy focus in both ELA and Math. I'm also obsessive about classroom management and organization! As a teacher who has implemented many different types of curriculum over the years, I'm always looking for a great starting point to work from. Sometimes it's a matter of finding that perfect way to supplement curriculum, and other times it's looking for something I can adapt to fit my classroom needs. If you're anything like me, you appreciate having that starting point to work from but prefer to Make It Uniquely Yours. Subitizing Dot Cards
Training a students brain to subitize (quickly see a group without counting) improves basic operation skills. Download and use this FREEBIE to practice! My favorite way to utilize these cards is to show students a group of dots for 3 seconds, ask them to give the quantity, and then have one student at a time share how they "saw the dots."
