Experience

I am a high school math teacher with experience teaching a range of courses, including AP Statistics, AP Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and College Algebra. In addition, I have provided tutoring support for Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, helping students build strong foundational skills. Through teaching students at different levels, I have developed a deep understanding of common misconceptions and how to guide students toward meaningful understanding.

Teaching style

I believe that every student can learn math with the right instruction and support. My goal as a teacher is to create more “aha” moments—those moments when everything suddenly makes sense. Nothing makes me happier or more proud than seeing a student say, “Ohhh, I get it now!” I strive to make math feel clear and approachable by: Breaking complex ideas into simple, structured steps Balancing direct instruction with active learning Creating memorable strategies and tricks I want learning math to feel natural—almost as easy as popping open a can of soda.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The most rewarding part of teaching for me is witnessing students gain confidence and experience those breakthrough “click” moments. I am especially proud when: Students who once struggled begin to understand and enjoy math Students actively engage and participate in learning A difficult concept finally clicks These moments are what inspired me to create my store.

My own education history

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics Master’s Degree in Mathematics (Teaching Track) Texas A&M University, 2025 My academic background allows me to combine strong mathematical knowledge with effective, student-centered teaching practices.
