Making Elementary Interactive

The Shape Attribute and Identification Index is a great tool to use to help students understand shape attributes and the differentiation between basic shapes. Key attributes included are # of right angles, sides, vertices, and parallel sets. Also included in length of sides and images of each shape. An answer key is included as well!

Build A Better Boat: Students will complete a engineering/science/genius hour activity where they learn about the science of flotation. Students will have the opportunity to design and create a small boat that can hold the most weight possible before sinking. This is the planning sheet.
