Yard Boy, Inches to Feet to Yards, Visual for Customary Conversion
Give your students a visual to remember how many inches are in a feet and how many feet are in a yarn. Meet Yard boy! He has three feet in his yard and 36 inches (itches because of the mosquitos). There are even 12 "itches" haning out around one foot. This will help your students remember the units and amounts for customary length.
