Great review that can be used as homework or task cards. This product includes fractions, decimals, positive and negative numbers. It also includes converting answers from fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. I've tried to include numerous skills that middle school students need to be successful.
A GREAT review for Order of Operations without exponents. I use it with my remedial middle school math class. It still has enough rigor to keep it challenging and yet not so hard that struggling math students give up. It is aligned to the new Texas TEKS. Includes whole numbers, decimals, and add, subtract, multiply, & dividing integers.
A TERRIFIC way for students to practice with a partner or individually solving inequalities and then matching it to the correct graph. It can be used with remedial students as well as students who are on level. This game can be used by teachers to asses students informally and check if they have acquired the skills that are necessary in middle school math. This game/task cards are TEKS and Common Core aligned.
A great review for central tendency. Wonderful resource for finding mean, median, mode, and range. Also has questions about finding a missing number when you know the average. Includes whole numbers, integers, and decimals. A great review for getting the "thinking juices" flowing!
Great activity that includes finding y-intercept & slope from tables with and without x values set at zero. It also includes having students write the equation for the line and determine if the slope is positive or negative. The last piece of each problem is to have students graph the line. These are PERFECT practice problems that I use in centers after I laminate them.
I know this is a much needed skill in middle school math! This sheet involves reducing fractions and getting both repeating and non repeating decimals as answers. A fun quick way to see who has got it and who needs some extra help.

A great way to review the order of operations. This product uses decimals, exponents, fractions, positive and negative integers. You may also use it as a group or individual assessment. 100% new TEKS aligned! This activity has the rigor that is necessary, and yet doesn't feel daunting or overwhelming to students.
A fantastic way to practice all operations with fractions. Borrowing, simplifying and converting improper fractions to mixed numbers. Getting a LCM for common denominators and getting GCF for reducing fractions. This practice sheet HAS IT ALL!
This is a very difficult concept for Middle School students to master. Students need to be able to find the whole when given a part and percent, and find the part when given a whole. This skill also strengthens financial literacy in students.
A great 8th grade or Algebra 1
