This can be used as a lesson for note taking on the types of government in the Plymouth and Massachusetts Bay Colony. The Mayflower Compact and an excerpt of the General Laws and Liberties is included in the slides presentation. There are checkpoint questions to formatively assess students throughout the lesson.

The Land Bridge Early Arrival Theory Origin Story The PowerPoint includes "I can..." statements, checkpoint/snapshot questions, and images. This lesson goes with the first Unit in the Louisiana state curriculum. My students take notes in their notebooks daily then write a summary about the notes that were taken. I normally follow up with a video and passage with questions that can be found in my TPT store.
