Making Primary Math Fun

Students will cut 21 different types of angles and sort them into one of three categories (acute, right, or obtuse angle). Students will use their right angle template (created during lesson 2) to determine what each angle should be classified as.

Play these games in pairs to reinforce geometric terms: point, ray, angle, line, line segment, intersecting lines.

Students will sort shapes and figures into different categories: Parallel lines/sides, Perpendicular lines/sides, BOTH, or neither.

Provide each group or pair with the page 2 answer document.  Page 3 cards should be cut out.  Students will match the cards in the page 2 answer document.  Students should match the prism, dimensions and volume.   Students will have to show their work on a separate piece of paper or whiteboard.
