Engage NY activity for Grade 5 Module 4 Lesson 22. Students will cut out the expressions and sort them based on the scaled factor. If the scaled factor is less than 1 whole, it will make the product less than the whole number factor. If the scaled factor is more than 1 whole, it will make the product greater than the whole number factor. If the scaled factor is equal to 1 whole, it will make the product equal to the whole number factor.
