Directions: Shade the “start box” (5 tenths). Then shade the arrow for the decimal number that is equivalent to that fraction. Your answer will bring you to the next fraction or mixed number. Continue to go through the maze until you have reached the correct finish box. Remember, if you are given an improper fraction, you may use a number bond to rewrite the fraction as a mixed number to help you find the correct decimal.
Students will subtract mixed numbers with different denominators. Students can use the provided templates to subtract horizontally or solve vertically on scrap paper.
