Graphing Motion Lab Activity (Distance vs. Time Lab)
In this lab, students will record the distance they travel in 40 seconds down a hallway. This lab ties in physics with nature of science/inquiry. The lab report includes hypothesis, procedure, materials, data table, *graphing and analyzing data, observations, conclusion and sharing results with another group. This is a free lab activity that brings motion graphs to life. Tips/Tricks: To reduce movement, I usually split my classes into 2 groups- boys and girls. I have 1 walker and 1 timer for e
