Experience

I am an elementary teacher with experience in both Title 1 schools and private schools. I have taught in primary grades with a focus on building strong math and reading foundations. My classroom experience centers around closing learning gaps, supporting struggling learners, and creating predictable routines that help students become independent. I regularly develop my own assessments, intervention plans, and daily review systems to ensure students retain skills over time.

Teaching style

My teaching style is structured, supportive, and confidence-focused. I believe students learn best when routines are consistent and expectations are clear. I prioritize explicit instruction followed by meaningful practice so students can apply skills independently. My classroom balances high expectations with encouragement, helping students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow.

My own education history

I truly believe in being a life-long learner. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in writing, rhetoric, and culture. I also have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am highly trained in LETRS and many other curriculums.
