Experience
I am about to begin my 15th year teaching first grade.
Teaching style
I use balanced literacy. My day starts with familiar reading, shared reading,guided reading, and read alouds. And that's all before 10:45!
I use as much differeniation and cooperative learning as I can.
I try to make sure to include all modalities when I compose a lesson.
