This set includes a colorful poster with complete Chinese paper currency and coins with English definitions next to it. There is also a page that goes over how to read Chinese prices and how to read prices with 2 in it (as 2 can sometimes be read as 两 liǎng). I have also included how to read discounts in Chinese. I also included 7 flip books that have pictures of items for the kids to make up prices, blank flip book templates for kids to make their own items and prices, and also a flip book

This a set of 20 essential classroom commands and phrases in Chinese. Pages 1-5 have Chinese and pinyin. Pages 6-10 have the same cards with Chinese, pinyin, and English. I use these cards to teach my students important classroom commands and phrases so that they can start speaking Chinese and understanding me quicker in the classroom. These phrases are also applicable outside of classroom. I have made videos with hand movements that go with these cards on my website www.mandarinforme.com.

Teaching style
I am currently teaching Chinese in middle school, and I come from a long history of early education in elementary school. So I love using ideas from elementary school with my middle schoolers. For example, instead of testing them on Chinese numbers I had them to a finger painting quiz. I love trying out new ideas and love bouncing off ideas with other teachers. I especially love music and art and play piano with my students and do many art projects. Many are documented on my website www.mandarinforme.com.
