Multiplying Decimals Crystal Collection Challenge
Students are given the challenge to collect crystals by multiplying decimals. Students receive one crystal for decimal times whole number problem. Students receive 2 crystals for solving a decimal times decimal problem. The template is set as a goal of collecting 20, however you can easily change this by simply changing the number (max is 30). Can be used as homework, review, or even as an assessment! Can easily be differentiated (change the collection goal)! Would make a great follow up to

Addition Tile Acitivity- Google Sheets
Try an activity on me! Test your students’ knowledge of adding with this fun tile activity! Students get 10 number tiles to place in the correct spot in the addition statement to make it true. As tiles are used, they get eliminated from the tile board. If students get all tiles placed correctly, a message pops up indicating a job well done. Answer key included! Great for digital learning!

I have taught in a middle school math and science classroom for over a decade. All activities are digital learning friendly and can easily be assigned through platforms such as google classroom.
Teaching style
My teaching style is simple; do what it takes to get kids to learn. Middle school can be challenging. My job is to find things that engage the kids to get students to want to learn and I started making my own activities to do just that. Students love technology and I find that using it in the correct way will allow for engagement in my classroom. My products reflect a variety of teaching methods, from drag and drop activities to guided notes and puzzles. Everything I sell, I have used and succeeded with in my own classroom!
