This is a section from my personal small group folder. It has Highscope Key Developmental Indicators on each page as well as Preschool DRDP measures that each activity goes with. Each one has the subjects, materials needed and description with optional changes and key speaking points for each activity. These are some of my kids favorites for 3-5 year olds. Usually done with groups of 8 kids at a time.
Here are 20 more activities to go with the first 25 that were uploaded. This is part 2. These are HighScope activities that are for play based and hands on learning. These have descriptions, KDIs, and DRDP measures put on each page. I put these in a small group activities binder for easy access in lesson planning.
This is the entire PTKLF in a condensed form. It only shows the the foundations for each domain at the early and later skills without all of the examples. It is formatted to print on 8X14 paper and then be laminated and put on a ring for easy access to foundational skills. With front and back, it prints 18 pages.
I use this to test my Preschoolers at the end of the year to go over with parents during Parent Conferences and give to their Kinder teachers so they know what knowledge they are entering Kinder with.
10 Shapes on pumpkins for shape recognition. Secretly place the black cat behind one of the pumpkins, sing the chant and let the children take turns guessing the shape to see if the cat is being it or not. Can be done in large or small group settings.
This is an activity for measurement. Print and laminate each page. Give kids a handful of unifix cubes or a tape measure. Have them measure each animal from line to line. Decide which animals are longer or shorter and how long they are.
4 weeks of distance learning lesson plans including independent homework assignments, and small groups. Lesson plans are based off of conscious discipline, DRDP and High Scope Activities. Every week has activities for Social Emotional Development, Math, Literacy, Health Safety and Nutrition. All of these activities can be done virtually on Google Meets or Zoom all together or done in the classroom.
PDF of 7 weeks of distance learning lesson plans. All of these activities were done virtual and all can be done in person as well. Includes a few of my small group activities as well. Goes along with the preschool DRDP. Mainly hands on activities where kids can do writing, counting and manipulating at home. This is the 3rd set of Lesson plans that I have uploaded so far and has the most weeks.
These are some of my lesson plans that I use for distance learning. This is not what I did in zoom or google meets with my kids, although many of the activities can be done on video with them. This is the homework I sent home to them every week for them to do with their parents and send me pictures of. Lots of DRDP measures are observed in these.
26 different bingo shapes with 25 different shapes and colors. This can be done with distance learning virtually or in the classroom. Comes with shapes cards as well for calling out colored shapes. I print them out in color, cut and laminate them and I put them in my preschoolers distribution supply pick ups along with some bingo dots. I show the colored shape cards over video and they have to find them on their card and cover them. Each card has 9 colored shapes. They have to cover their whole

Continuation to weeks 1-4 distance learning lesson plans. Here is 5 more weeks of what I have been doing strictly virtual learning. Online activities and homework
I use file folders in my Preschool Classroom. Print out the pages and cut them out. You can put them into a file folder with velcro. Kids have to follow the directions and match the animals or count or seperate them. Also helps with fine motor.
Print out and laminate houses. Can be played on a white board with magnets put on them or can be put in a power chart. Place the gingerbread man behind one of the houses. Have the kids guess what number it is behind? Look and see if they are right. Then secretly move the gingerbread man and have them guess again. You can make up a song to go with it for where is the gingerbread man? Numbers 1-10 2 different sizes of houses and gingerbread men
One sheet and you can test your students on every cog measurement for DRDP 2015. Works awesome with Learning genie, can take a picture of the page and upload it to the measurements.
