This is a section from my personal small group folder. It has Highscope Key Developmental Indicators on each page as well as Preschool DRDP measures that each activity goes with. Each one has the subjects, materials needed and description with optional changes and key speaking points for each activity. These are some of my kids favorites for 3-5 year olds. Usually done with groups of 8 kids at a time.

Here are 20 more activities to go with the first 25 that were uploaded. This is part 2. These are HighScope activities that are for play based and hands on learning. These have descriptions, KDIs, and DRDP measures put on each page. I put these in a small group activities binder for easy access in lesson planning.

Microsoft Slide game to play with Preschoolers and Kindergarteners. The way I play it is I present the slides to the kids one at a time. I as them which one belongs with the person. It could be which hat or which vehicle. Once they tell me and I click next, it enlarges the correct answer to show them it was right. Very fun game to play virtually to talk about our community helpers. It has baker, construction worker, trash man, police, firefighters and paramedics on it.

PDF of 7 weeks of distance learning lesson plans. All of these activities were done virtual and all can be done in person as well. Includes a few of my small group activities as well. Goes along with the preschool DRDP. Mainly hands on activities where kids can do writing, counting and manipulating at home. This is the 3rd set of Lesson plans that I have uploaded so far and has the most weeks.

These are some of my lesson plans that I use for distance learning. This is not what I did in zoom or google meets with my kids, although many of the activities can be done on video with them. This is the homework I sent home to them every week for them to do with their parents and send me pictures of. Lots of DRDP measures are observed in these.

Here is several different ways for parents to paint with their kids at home with all materials that they either already have at home or can grab at the dollar store. Its a good handout to just send them all in one place.

This is a powerpoint presentation that is editable. I am doing virtual learning with my Preschoolers. We have been talking about weather and what is appropriate wear during different weather conditions. The way I use this is that I present it on my screen to them. It will show them the first slide which is sunny. I ask them what they should wear when it is sunny. They give me their answers then I press the space bar and my answers start to show up one at a time and I see if they guessed the same

This has many different ways of how parents can help children work on their names at home besides just tracing. It is a perfect print out to send home to parents during distance learning to encourage hands on activity with their children.

26 different bingo shapes with 25 different shapes and colors. This can be done with distance learning virtually or in the classroom. Comes with shapes cards as well for calling out colored shapes. I print them out in color, cut and laminate them and I put them in my preschoolers distribution supply pick ups along with some bingo dots. This is a powerpoint presentation that you can present from Zoom or Google Meets for your kids. I use this and show it to them and they have to follow what the picture says to act like an animal in some way.
