About the store
Welcome to my store! I hope you find all the High School Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry resources you need! A little about myself: I have taught all grades of middle school math as well as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Pre-Calculus at the high school level. With never less than two preps (4 at most), two crazy kids, a husband out of town most of the time and no family around to help, I needed materials and a way of organizing my class that made my life easier while I kept the fun in learning. My class has always been high-energy, positive, accepting and demanding. I've taught Honors and struggling learners in almost every grade level; I've used AVID strategies, interactive notebooks, iPads, Chromebooks, Nearpods, Boom Cards, Google Slides activities, adobe spark applications and more - if it's tech-based, I've tried it, and I've probably loved it! (Except that one time I used a Nearpod during my observation and had Internet issues - thankfully, I had a back-up plan!). Please reach out if you have any tech questions!

Preview of Weekly Warmup Sheet

Weekly Warmup Sheet

I have done warm ups a variety of ways but find this way to work the best at getting students on task when they enter my classroom! I copy this weekly warm up recording sheet to two sides of a piece of paper, so students get a new one every two weeks. Students turn in their warmup sheet at the end of a two-week period, but I typically only actually grade one each during a single six-week grading period, and students do not know which one I will take for a grade.

Teaching style

As a veteran math teacher, I have worked with a variety of students and have taught every math from 6th grade math to High School Pre-Calculus. I LOVE what I do. My class is packed from start to finish with warm ups, homework checks, lessons, activities/games and exit tickets. I find an organized and packed class helps behavior issues!
