Systems of Quadratics and Linear Guided Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These are guided notes for students to complete on solving a system of a quadratic and linear function. There are several examples included in the notes for students to use as practice once the notes have been completed.

Exponential Functions Notes Bundle

Created by
Manely Math
This bundle includes 5 lessons of guided or skeleton notes from introduction to exponential functions to key features of exponentials. It also includes tables of exponentials, graphs, and growth and decay. Answer keys are provided for each set of notes on the following page. These notes were glues into the interactive notebook daily but can be used as full sheet pages as well.
Preview of Graphing Quadratic Inequalities Notes

Graphing Quadratic Inequalities Notes

Created by
Manely Math
This guided notes reminds students what the inequality symbols mean in terms of solid or dashed and where to shade and then walks students through a standard form quadratic inequality. You may add or make not to your students that if there are no x-intercepts they should use a table. This lesson was after my students solved quadratic inequalities and graphed on a number line so graphing by c-intercepts was an easy prior learning connection.
Preview of Inverse Radical Functions Notes

Inverse Radical Functions Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These guided notes refresh students memory on what an inverse function is and then has them solve algebraically for four examples(quadratic, square root, cubic, cube root). They second page has them graphically find inverses and discusses domain and range.
Preview of Exponential Growth and Decay Notes

Exponential Growth and Decay Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These skeleton or fillable notes are meant for exponential functions with rates specifically growth or decay. A completed set of notes is provided as well. There are three examples in the notes to complete with student before you move on to individual practice.
Preview of Key Features of Exponential Functions Notes

Key Features of Exponential Functions Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These skeleton notes are designed to refresh students memory on key features of functions as well as have students draw and label the asymptote and y-intercept on both a growth and decay graph. Also included is a real world situation for a restricted domain and range discussion.
Preview of Exponential Functions Skeleton Notes

Exponential Functions Skeleton Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These guided notes come with a skeleton version and a completed version. They are meant as a basic introduction to exponential functions and the general exponential equation.
Preview of Systems with Three Variables Notes

Systems with Three Variables Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These skeleton guided notes are an introduction into solving systems of equations with three variables by hand.
Preview of Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring Notes

Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring Notes

Created by
Manely Math
These guided notes are fillable for students to complete on solving quadratic equations. Project this or use on a smartboard and fill in along with the students. Students are solving quadratics by factoring. They should have a background in factoring polynomials before this lesson.

About the store

Experience

I have been teaching high school mathematics for 7 years and counting! I have taught various classes with a focus on algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2. I have taught in both common core and non common core states and am currently teaching in Texas.

Teaching style

I love to create student driven, discovery lessons that fully engage all students in the learning of the task at hand. My second focus is guided notes for students to complete as we discuss as a class, which ensures they have organized notes to refer back to.

My own education history

Master's Degree in Secondary Education, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics

Additional biographical information

Originally from Connecticut I relocated to Texas in 2016!
