Teaching style

It is my mission to cultivate and facilitate an environment of lifelong learning, curiosity, open-mindedness, and global citizenship throughout classroom and school communities. I am a holistic educator who focuses on student-directed teaching styles in which teachers are learners, learners are teachers, and process rather than product is at the forefront of each individual's mind.

Additional biographical information

I am an international educator originally from Boise, Idaho. I've had the privilege to call Tbilisi, Georgia, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Malawi home. I currently work as the Director of Student Services at an International School in Lilongwe, Malawi while also partnering with school organizations on curriculum development programs and creating educational resources for educators worldwide. Outside of the education world, I love hiking, reading, and being in my kitchen exploring all things food!
