Students choose 1 foodborne illness after learning about them in class. Students will create their own infographic online utilizing Canva or Pitkochart.
Students complete this project either individually or with a partner. Students choose one chronic disease from the list to complete their research on and present to the class their findings.
I use this worksheet in conjunction with the USDA's Fruit & Vegetable Nutrition Facts Sheets. Students pick 1 fruit & 1 vegetable to complete their assignment on.
The Food Allergy form is used for parents to complete to state whether their child has a food or soap allergy I should be aware of prior to cooking in the Nutrition lab.
