Oh what fun the weeks it is to teach between Thanksgiving and Christmas! I've created a fun and festive symmetry project. Students can create various winter and Christmas-themed symmetrical images. Their imagination and understanding of symmetry is the only limit!

Teaching style
I like to bring my punk rock attitude to my teaching. It may sound weird, but basically it's this: I expect my students to be themselves. I expect my students to accept others, ESPECIALLY when the other is different in some way. I don't apologize for my geekiness and show them that if you're you, there's no better way to be.
