Experience
I am a NYS Certified teacher of Special Education, for ages B-9.
I have worked as a Daycare Provider and Director, as well as a Self Contained Classroom and a Co-Taught classroom.
Teaching style
I believe in being firm yet supportive, while maintaining a consistent, neat and organized predictable environment. Visual and physical clutter are distracting, and overstimulating to myself and many of my students.
My own education history
I have a Masters Degree in Special Education B-9 with an Annotation in Autism, and Concentration in Developmental Psychology.
My Bachelor's Degree is in Speech Communication Disorders.
