About the store

I have a bachelor of science degree from Saint Joseph's University and a masters of science degree from New York University. I am a speech language therapist working in the public schools. This is my first year as a speech teacher. I work with the medically fragile population as well as students on the Autistic Spectrum. My caseload ranges from 6 year olds to 13 year olds.

I use these parents letter each week to let parents know the goals I have worked on, the days the students received services, the activities completed, the supports that were needed and the students behavior. This form has helped reduce the stress and time that goes into writing all those weekly parents letters.

Teaching style

I enjoy adapting books. I think books are a great learning tool for all students. Since I work with a wide-range of skill levels, I work to make my activities to fit differentiated instruction. Many of my students are non-ambulatory and non-verbal so I need to be creative in finding ways for them to communicate, learn and be stimulated.
