To Kill a Mockingbird Quotation Puzzle
This puzzle, an anacrostic, is themed around a quotation from "To Kill a Mockingbird" which your students will solve by answering questions about the book and other cultural references. These puzzles help students from high school through college dig into the theme of a book in an unusual and highly engrossing way. They're a guaranteed class period of silence after you've handed them out and briefly explained the process.

Additional biographical information
Many of my contributions here will be in the form of anacrostic puzzles. I wrote software so I could create them. They are one of the more successful ideas I introduced in my 33 years in the public schools. If you aren't familiar with them, you should check out one in my products listings. My wife and I publish a weekly puzzle in our local paper.
