This REFORMATTED Declaration of Independence does not leave out a single word, but it breaks the text into shorter paragraphs and uses bullet-points. Much, much easier to read. (Still has "Printed by John Dunlap" at the end.)
This two-page handout on fascist government covers the fundamentals of fascist ideology with special reference to Nazism. Includes sections on what the Nazis were against, what they said they were for, historical influences, and differences and similarities between German Nazism and Italian Fascism, among other issues.
A good brief introduction for the beginning student, but with a bit of advanced information, too.
R.A. Radford was a British economist who spent part of World War II in a German prisoner-of-war camp, Stalag 7A. When the war ended, he wrote a now-famous article about supply, demand, prices, money, and public opinion in the prison camp. This assignment asks students to read the article and answer questions. COVER SHEET ONLY, but article itself is available on the Internet.
This is a 20-question political ideology quiz, similar to dozens of others. But it has several unusual characteristics:
*It does not assume that conservatives want to ban virtually all abortions or that liberals want to ban virtually all handguns.
*It includes questions about education policy and local politics.
*It avoids issues of extreme topicality (e.g., the Iraq conflict.)
