These memory game cards can also be used as flashcards. We start out by teaching the game of memory in a small group. Then I like to put a set of cards in a small basket or zippered pouch in the puzzles and games center for free choice time. With many service providers or other school staff knocking on classroom doors during small groups or music and movement, it can be difficult to hear each and every one. I got a doorbell for my classroom. Even with the doorbell near the door handle, people still missed seeing it. This sign helps bring more attention to it and it matches my decor! This is a visual choice board I use in my preschool classroom. It promotes speaking or gives those with lower English communication skills a way to make a choice. I teach in an inclusive public preschool classroom that serves general education, special education, and English language learners all together. This tool works well when you place velcro dots on the squares. I also place velcro dots on the back and change them out or move them there when those choices have been selected.
