About the store

Experience

I have been teaching math for over 15 years, creating and editing materials for all of the different grade levels I've worked with. I am currently a math specialist and a significant part of my job is to prepare materials that are differentiated for smalls groups. My goal is to create materials for kids at every point of understanding to deeply engage with using critical thinking and problem solving in their own style.

Teaching style

I was trained to teach math through collaborative group work that focuses on inquiry and exploration. I have found that a healthy mix of open sharing about thoughts and observations and specific teacher guidance achieves the best results in all of my students. I design lessons and units with this in mind.
