Mary Powell has had a sucessful career as a teacher, author, & publisher of educational materials. She has conducted teacher's workshops in " How To Present Mathematical Concepts To Students", receiving excellent reviews from teachers. Her teaching experience was at the Middle School level, as well as Junior College. It was here that her students placed her name in WHO'S WHO AMONG AMERICAN TEACHERS.
She is the author of a complete "Classroom Management Program" and a "Self-Tutoring Math KIT", both with all instruction on cassette tape in English and Spanish. In adition to these products, she has published an "easy to understand" math reference book called Math "Stuff" You've Forgotten.

Teaching style
Everyone knows we need math, but too much emphasis is placed on theory . Many students just want to know HOW to do it __ not the theory behind the math operation ! I'm a "HOW " teacher !

Mary has conducted workshops for teachers, receiving great reviews. While teaching at the Junior College level, She was twice nominated to be placed in "Who's Who Among American Teachers".
My own education history
Received "Outstanding Math Student" award in High School, then went on to pursue a degree in education with emphasis on mathematics. Due to strange course of events, I entered the business world long before before the classroom.
