This lesson plan teaches students about a current artist named Andy Goldsworthy and his interesting approach to creating art. He uses only things he find in nature. After learning about this style, the students are then able to try this type of artwork themselves. There is also extensions at the bottom to connect this to math (geometry, 2-D, 3-D, perimeter).
*This math lesson involves using art, hands on learning, and an object that all kids love... PIZZA to learn and explore comparing fractions.
*There is a complete lesson plan provided and all the printables that you need for this fun lesson.
This activity has the students measure themselves and then average the mean of each measurement with the measurements of their group. They use these measurements to create a life size puppet/model of an "average" student their age. This lesson involves looking at physical proportion, measuring, and averaging mean. I also have extensions that make the assignment even more exciting and integrated!
Add some fun and color to your Halloween party or as a time filler with these fun coloring pages! Pumpkins, skeletons, spiders, cats, and BOO! Even the teachers will have some fun coloring these!
This lesson plan allows students to investigate, discuss, move, and create movement based on a Jackson Polluck painting.

Teaching style
I am always looking for ways to make learning an exploratory experience and have the child learn through creative, hands on lessons. I want students to be involved in their learning and doing that through multiple modalities for enjoyment and maximum learning/ remembrance. I want children to love learning in all areas.
