This is a PowerPoint presentation that is used to emphasize the meaning of being in/out of proportion. The presentation goes through the crazy proportions of Barbie and G.I. Joe as if they were human size, discusses the Ape Ratio, and Head Length: Height Ratio used to draw people. This is a fun way to start the class, then move on to having students take their own measurements and calculate their ratios in comparison to Barbie or G.I. Joe!
