All math skills review practice for primary

Created by

Interactive presentation presents 36 multiple choice questions with graphics and pictures. I have used as a whole group presentation (review math lesson), then the next week I use it for a student led center. When initally using the presentation, I use it as a tool to review or reteach each concept. This presentation briefly covers many math concepts (fractions, graphs, number sense, place value) similar to the variety of skills tested on many standardized tests.

Interactive Brochure for Properties of Multiplication

Introduce or review the properties of multiplication with this tri-fold brochure. Students will have the opportunity to review/learn each property, use the property, and create an equation for the property. Quick coloring review and matching as well. This would be perfect for review, introduce or use as a center.

Experience

15 years in the 1st grade classroom has given me a lot of great memories and intense experience. I enjoy almost every minute of it! :) What a blessing it is to have a job you love.

Teaching style

I love discovery teaching! I love when the students explore, and EUREKA....they have discovered/learned something new. Not all curriculum lends itself to that, so I try to create interesting material to keep them engaged.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Nationally Board Certified! I receive intense, ongoing cooperative learning training. I work at a Kagan Cooperative Learning School and I know of no other way to teach. Rows of desks are foreign to me (except for my high school years).
