This is an activity for making an ABC book for a class field trip or class activity, but could be modified for any type of ABC book. It includes instructions, a grading rubric, and a gist sheet (or graphic organizer) for a rough draft ABC book. The actual ABC book is then constructed on readwritethink.org. The document is in word and prints on legal sized paper, but can be reduced if needed. I used this with 5th graders after our class field trip, but it can be used with any middle grade level.
