This product was designed with Building Thinking Classrooms in mind. These two tasks are designed for a low floor high ceiling assignment or thin sliced lesson plan. This could be used for a lesson on converting between word form, expanded form and standard form. Students are encouraged to write numbers in as many forms as they can think of.
