About the store
I have lived and worked in Melbourne, London and Vancouver Island (current). Majority of my experience has been teaching/tutoring students in years 4-6 but have had a range of experience from kindergarten to year 10. In Melbourne I spent 4 years teaching years 4-6 in a low Socio-Economic school with a high population of English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Education Needs (SEN) students. In London I spent some time supply teaching (substitute, CRT, whatever you want to call it) before I started fulltime private tutoring 6 to 15 year olds. A part of this was working in a bridge high school (students with learning difficulties and behavioural problems). For my move to Canada, I decided to try something different and become an Au Pair. I am working with two beautiful young boys aged 2 and 5.

Pin Poking Activities - Dinosaur

Dinosaur pin poking activities are an engaging way children can improve their fine motor skills. This pin poking printable allows your child to practice their fine motor skills in three different ways depending on their competency. It is best to complete on carpet or a folded towel. Don't have a pin? Anything sharp will work! I use corn holders (see in preview video). Different ways to use this resource:> Print and allow students to poke holes through using a pin. Colour in once complete. &

Experience

I have lived and worked in Melbourne, London and Vancouver Island (current). Majority of my experience has been teaching/tutoring students in years 4-6 but have had a range of experience from kindergarten to year 10. In London I spent some time supply teaching (substitute, CRT, whatever you want to call it) before I started fulltime private tutoring 6 to 15 year olds. Teaching style

I set out to instil a passion for learning in my students through engagement and student's voice. I like to create foundations while letting students drive their own learning. This is something many find difficult in mathematics and I want to help create this culture in this area.

My own education history

I completed my Bachelor of Teaching at the Australian Catholic University in 2014.
