Masterful Middle

Student will follow the design process and create their own maze. Also included is a cut and paste activity about repel and attract, as well as a jingle bell counting magnetic game. There is also hyperlinks included with videos to help give students brief background knowledge. One video is a brainpop link so you must have access to get that video.

This is a fun "Top Secret Mission" for students to use technology to find materials to complete a STEM mission with using coordinated planes. It also incorporates labeling the x- and y-axis, and students will need to be able to identify the correct points. After students gather their supplies they will create a solution to their mission. I added a student response section.

This is a STEM holiday spin off the typical egg drop. Students will use the design process to develop a packaging to make sure the candy cane does not break from the heights off 3 feet, 6 feet, or 9 feet.

Students have task cards and need to get from one point to another by creating an algorithm. Includes task cards, pieces, algorithm mat and arrows. This is an "unplugged" coding activity.

Students are responsible for creating a 3-dimensional Arctic animal that focuses on a unique adaptation. This item includes a rubric and student outline for quick research.

This poster uses an acroynm to help students remember how to divide correctly. Each mathmatical word is in a corresponding color that matches the division problem shown.

Three different types of cards to be laminated and have students use to round to the Greatest Value, Comparing two sets of numbers, and round to a specific place. These activities have student response sheets to have accountability.
