All Operations with Decimals - Partner Activity
This activity is great for partners or even independent reflection. Each partner will solve one side of the the paper. They will have different questions but the answers are the same. This allows partners to compare and reflect on wrong answers before asking the teacher. A student that works individually can complete both sides to see if their answers match. Experience
I spent the first couple years of my career teaching students with disabilities and then transitioned to a general education teacher for the past 5 years. I have taught 6th-8th grade from the resource level (students with disabilities) all the way to our double accelerated AIG students.
Teaching style
I am a very structured teacher when it comes to notes, assignments, and expectations. I encourage classroom discussions while teaching and enjoy joking around with the students. Even though I am very structured my classroom is a relaxed environment where students have the opportunity to express questions and ideas.
