Unusual Units of Measurement: Math Enrichment
This is the BEST resource for enriching your measurement unit! I've used this for extra credit, gifted students, homework, and even as an interesting way to start lessons. Instead of the measurement basics, students will research to find out how big an acre is, what is a byte, and how far is a light year? This activity is a lot of fun! This resource is EDITABLE and includes an answer key!

Measurement Conversions Cheat Sheet
This "Cheat Sheet" will help your students focus on solving multi-step word problems without worrying about common measurement conversions. These can be copied as a double-sided reference sheet for students, or print the "Composition Notebook" page for students to glue in for easy reference. After using the cheat sheet for a few weeks, students will have many of the conversions memorized!

My own education history
I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2000 and my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from ASU in 2013. I have earned my endorsements for teaching Gifted K-12, Biology, Early Childhood, and English as a Second Language K-12. I am also STEM Certified.

I live and work in Goodyear, Arizona. I'm a full time teacher and a mom to three kids. I love finding new ideas for lessons and new experiences for my learners.
