About the store
I have a Master's degree in General and Special Childhood Education as well as a Master's degree in School Counseling. A majority of my teaching experience takes place in 6th grade. I am a Title I Mathematics special education ICT teacher. I have worked in a variety of different classrooms including self-contained, ICT, and honors. Throughout my experience of different classroom settings I am able to differentiate according to students individual needs. I am able to enhance my skills in teaching the next generation standards to struggling students. My passion is in developing classroom resources that will enhance student learning and engagement. My mission is to give teachers the tools to create a classroom environment where students are able to thrive and grow as learners.

Students often have difficulty with word problems. This "cheat sheet" helps students break down the problems into simpler means. I print these out, laminate them, and cut them in half! It's an excellent resource to help students!

This is the whole unit I used for my 6th grade Math. It is aligned with the NEW YORK STATE NEXT GENERATION MATHEMATICS LEARNING STANDARDS . Each lesson includes: -Learning target -Do now -Mood Meter -Criteria for Success - "I do, We do, and You do" -Practice -Independent work -Self assessments -Answers to math problems so students can self-assess -Homework sheets. This is only the first lesson- 4.1 Model Ratios
