Math Addict

Let’s take the bottle flip challenge into the math world. I have added statistics to the game that my students love to play to get them interested in statistics.

This is a project that we will be doing as a whole group. I am using this to introduce exponential growth and decay. It could be used as an activity for the students to work on in groups, after teaching them the basics of exponential functions.

I used this activity coming back from Spring Break, we were beginning financial literacy and thought this would be a good way to ease them back into learning. This could be used before or after spring break to send the students off. The students will plan a trip using the options that are available. Once the trip is planned then they add up the total cost of their trip. You then tell them they only have so much money saved up and if they spent too much they have to re-plan their trip. I left th
