Teaching style

I believe students learn best when they're actively engaged, so my classroom is built around interaction, creativity, and fun. I regularly use games, collaborative activities, and hands-on learning to make math meaningful and memorable. Rather than relying solely on traditional tests, I often use projects as assessments—giving students the chance to apply their understanding in real-world and creative ways. My goal is to create a positive math experience where all learners feel confident and involved.

My own education history

I earned my degrees from The College of Saint Rose, where I completed a dual degree program in Mathematics Education and Special Education. I hold a Master’s degree in Secondary Education (Grades 7–12) with certification in both 4-7 Mathematics and K-12 Special Education. My training has given me a strong foundation in differentiated instruction, allowing me to create resources that support a wide range of learners and learning styles.
