About the store

Experience

I love supporting teachers with high quality resources that keep students engaged and save teachers time while lesson planning. My resources are the result of my experience in the classroom for over 20 years. I've taught grades 5 - 8 at all different ability levels. I'm also proud of becoming a go-to person for my coworkers when they are looking for fun ways to mix things up for their students.

Teaching style

My teaching has always been about the why and the how behind the mathematics, with a fun twist. Since moving to middle school, I have really learned how to take seemingly straight forward math lessons and turn them into exciting sessions with a theme or a game.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was awarded Staff Member of the Week in my 2nd year at my school!

My own education history

My Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education is from the University of Michigan. My first Master's Degree is from Johns Hopkins University in Teacher Leadership. My second Master's Degree is from the University of Maryland in Middle School Mathematics.
