This lab has students work together as a class to take position and time data for four scenarios. The moving "object" is a classmate walking at various speeds. Students then graph the data and a class discussion, lead by 8 questions at the end, is had. I use this lab before teaching any kinematics formally. Experience

Teaching style

I prefer to break the content down as much as possible when I introduce new topics. I have found that the more engaged your audience is, the better they perform. I have been amazed at what students can accomplish when given the right opportunity and encouragement.
