This Google Form is a great way for students to test their skills on the Coordinate Plane. This is set up in the style of an escape room. In order to move onto the next part, students must answer the question correctly. These questions come from the released NC EOG for 6th grade.

Box Plot Guided Notes
Quick guided notes on the box plot. Goes over the 6 keywords (minimum, maximum, lower quartile, upper quartile, median, and Interquartile Range) and where they are represented on the box plot. There is a back side that students can use to practice creating a box plot using class data or data that the teacher gives the students.

Experience
I have been teaching 6th grade math for the last 8 years.
Teaching style
I try to do a lot of hands on activities and allow my students to move around the classroom. Due to the national pandemic, I am working on using the same methods, but digitally. Since I can't have kids move around the classroom, I am taking the activities I love and turning them digital.

My own education history
Graduated from UNCP in 2018 and began my teaching career. I plan on going back for masters at a later date.
