About the store
I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade for the last 8 years. I love teaching and I have always created my own content. I feel I am in a position to help others at this point in my career by putting some finishing touches on my work and getting it out there for other students to enjoy in other classrooms. My style isn't so cute as what may typically seen on TpT, but I do love math and I try to be intentional and thorough when I approach the content. I do have some amazing artist friends though that help keep it cute and original as well!

Rounding to Thousands, Ten Thousands, Hundred Thousands Station
This Rounding to Thousands, Ten Thousands, Hundred Thousands Station is great for a 15-25 minute long station rotation. This product contains choose all the correct answer type questions, simple rounding to a given place type questions, and write the name of the place the number has been rounded to type questions. The recording sheet for each day holds students accountable for the work they are doing when they aren't with you.

Balancing Equations with Scale Visual
This activity helps students see more clearly that the = sign can stand for equality and not just where an "answer" goes at the end of a problem. The first 6 problems are scale visuals and the second 6 problems on each page have equations with a missing addend, minuend, or subtrahend. There are 5 worksheets like this and 1 that can be used for partners to practice with.

Knowing the Value by the Place
This center will have students look at a BIG digit, a small digit, an underlined digit, or a bold digit on a small task card. They will then use a laminate or sheet protected workmat to write the value of the specially fonted digit in its correct place.

I attended college at Lynchburg College in Virginia and graduated with a degree in elementary ed.
