Additional biographical information

I’m a passionate middle school math teacher with over 10 years of experience, having taught in both India and Canada. My teaching journey started in India, where I spent four years honing my skills in diverse classrooms, before moving to Canada to continue my career. I’ve been teaching in Canada for the past six years, and this variety of experience has shaped my approach to teaching, allowing me to adapt to different student needs and cultural contexts. Alongside my teaching, I’m the creator behind Math at a Glance on Teachers Pay Teachers. I design resources that are both practical and engaging, with a focus on helping students build a strong math foundation in a fun, accessible way. Whether it’s through math mystery activities, spiral reviews, or classroom decor, I strive to provide teachers with tools that make their teaching experience easier and more effective. When I’m not teaching or creating resources, I love spending time with my two kids (ages 7 and 9) and rejuvenating by the beach during the summer months. I’m always excited to connect with other educators and share strategies that make teaching math more enjoyable for both students and teachers.
