Teaching style
I don't have a specific teaching style. I try to vary them to whatever works best for each specific class.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have received the Teacher of the Year award at two different elementary schools. One of them was while I was the Latchkey teacher and a full-time substitute who took over a classroom halfway through the year!
My own education history
I have a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University. Go Buckeyes! I also have a reading endorsement and lots of coursework teaching students who are ELL and talented and gifted.
