In this fun and engaging classroom game, students will pair up with a teammate and use written descriptions to try to draw or name the same geometric figure. Points are rewarded based on correct answers and matching answers. This game builds teamwork, fosters attention to detail, and gets students to encourage each other.

Fully editable Advent calendar including classroom rewards and prizes for good behavior leading up to Christmas. Kids love the suspense of opening up the door and seeing what they earned (or missed out on). Keep track of whether or not they earned the reward for the following day and choose a student to tap the door to open it.

In this project, students can choose any logo that interests them and recreate their logo on graph paper. They should use all straight lines that they can find the distance of using Pythagorean Theorem. This project incorporates creativity, attention to detail, and important skills pertaining to Pythagorean Theorem.

This is a great way to have students explore nets of 3D figures using several different learning styles. They have dive into the tactile properties of these figures, play around with how they unfold into their nets, and test out new ways to draw different nets. This works great as a group or partner activity with students working through stations or can be used as an independent activity if you have enough tools.
